Igwe A.O. Ene, Amanasato Oduma Community Felicitate Nwanjoku on Aninri LG Election Victory, Describe It as Testament to His Good Works
Amanasato Oduma Autonomous Community has joined well-wishers across Aninri Local Government Area in congratulating Hon. Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku on his victory in the just-concluded Aninri Local Government election.
Speaking to news reporter, the Coordinating President-General of Oduma, Hon. Engr. Nwaru Obed Chinweoke, made the congratulatory message available to The Voice of the Masses on behalf of the community and its traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Igwe A.O. Ene, Ogbuzulu I na Oduma.
Igwe Ene, the revered traditional ruler of Amanasato Oduma Autonomous Community, described Nwanjoku’s electoral victory as a testament to his service, commitment and contributions to the people of Aninri.
The monarch, speaking alongside the people of his community, congratulated the council chairman on his renewed mandate and urged him to remain focused on delivering meaningful development to the grassroots.
According to Igwe Ene, a renewed mandate comes with renewed expectations from the people. He therefore charged Nwanjoku to build on the progress recorded during his previous tenure while strengthening grassroots governance and responding effectively to the needs of communities across Aninri.
The traditional ruler also reflected on the family heritage of the council chairman, noting that Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku is the son of the late HRH Igwe Godwin Onyioha Nwanjoku, whom he described as a colleague and a respected political figure whose contributions made an impact on the political and traditional landscape of Enugu State.
Igwe Ene noted that the relationship between the two families represents a longstanding bond and a tradition of leadership and public service.
The monarch, popularly known as Ogbuzulu I na Oduma, is himself approaching a remarkable milestone, having spent close to five decades on the traditional throne. His long reign has established him as one of the longstanding traditional rulers in the area.
While congratulating Prince Nwanjoku, Igwe Ene also acknowledged what he described as the development-oriented leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, noting that the administration’s development agenda has contributed to calls for continuity.
He urged Nwanjoku to consolidate on the achievements of his administration and ensure that the confidence reposed in him by the electorate translates into tangible benefits for the people.
The monarch emphasized the importance of continuity, responsible leadership and inclusive development, urging the council chairman to maintain close engagement with traditional rulers, Presidents-General, community leaders, youths, women and other stakeholders.
He further encouraged the council administration to deepen its attention to infrastructure, human capital development, peace, security and other priorities affecting residents at the grassroots.
The entire Amanasato Oduma Autonomous Community, in solidarity with their traditional ruler, also joined in celebrating Nwanjoku’s electoral victory, wishing him wisdom, strength and success as he begins another phase of service to the people of Aninri.
The community prayed that the renewed tenure would bring greater development, peace, unity, improved infrastructure and stronger grassroots governance across Aninri Local Government Area.
The congratulatory message concluded with a charge to Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku to regard his renewed mandate not merely as an electoral victory, but as an opportunity to deepen the relationship between the council administration and the people and to leave a lasting legacy of service and development.
